  • Group Health
    NPS offers organizations truly individualized, comprehensive program design strategies that are geared to generate plan savings and member convenience. We assist clients in the design, development, and implementation of benefit plans ranging from major medical and simple fixed co-pay plans to complex formulary based, multi-tier co-pay plans that may have coinsurance requirements, deductibles, maximum payouts, and/or other unique characteristics. Included are drug utilization review programs, disease state management programs, pharmacy product conversion protocol programs, and formulary programs.
  • Medicare Part D
    NPS has been providing delegation, actuarial assistance, and subcontractor services to plan sponsors of Medicare Part D since its inception in 2006. We have the knowledge capital and the wealth of experience to understand its complex requirements and an organizational environment to support these unique programs. Medicare Part D touches many lives and our self-insured clients may utilize the NPS programs for retiree drug subsidy needs.
  • Managed Medicaid
    NPS led the way by entering into delegated risk arrangements with Managed Medicaid models in early 2001. These programs are an innovative way to introduce tools found in privatization of health plans while maintaining the original intentions and provisions of State and Federal mandates applicable to members eligible for such options. Our models align to these unique plans by offering flexibility in plan controls with a clear focus on balancing the supply of funding dollars with the demands placed by the members. We continue to strive to meet the challenge of integrating physician network providers and pharmacy network caregivers with plan provisions of step therapy, formulary offerings, disease state management, appropriate discounts, and rebate offers with member needs all at the point-of-sale.
  • Work Related Injury Program
    Eliminate your paper jungle! NPS offers a totally unique solution for a workers’ compensation prescription benefits program that is touchless and paperless. This traditionally manual, cumbersome process is now offered online. It enrolls participants, processes and controls prescription claims activity electronically, and can even issue ID cards right from your desktop. Additionally, NPS saves clients 30% to 50% or more per prescription when they switch to our Work Related Injury Program.
  • Health Savings Accounts
    A popular choice for many clients that want to reduce healthcare expenses in order to redirect their cash flow. NPS manages a wide variety of direct-to-consumer plans including Health Reimbursement Accounts, Medical Savings Accounts, Health Savings Accounts, Flexible Spending Arrangements, Stored Values Clubs (prepaid healthcare), and Discount Only programs. Our nationally recognized NPS Network SmartCard™ Program is an ideal fit for corporations that desire to educate consumers on the value of the healthcare they receive.
  • Consumer Pharmacy Benefit Program
    This is the key to tapping into the NPS virtual private pharmacy network. The NPS Network SmartCard™ Program is a consumer-only pharmacy benefit program that enables individuals to receive pharmacy contracted pricing. Additionally, this program helps teach cardholders and their physicians how to save money by using formularies and NPS system pricing, protects card holders from life-threatening drug interactions and allergies, provides additional value with prize giveaways, and provides a profiled Prescription Drug Explanation of Savings Report to document the savings received.
